New builds

Electrical work on new residential builds, from the temporary supply through to fit-off.

Overview

The work

New build work follows the site program. The temporary builder’s supply goes in early, rough-in happens once the frame is up and before the plasterer, and fit-off is one of the last trades through.

The point layout comes off the plans. Any changes are best raised before rough-in, because once the plaster is on the wall has to be opened again to move anything.
