Commercial fitouts and maintenance

Electrical work in shops, offices and other commercial premises, and the maintenance after it.

Overview

The work

Fitout work covers the lighting, the power and the switchboard changes a tenancy needs before it opens. The scope usually comes off a shopfitter’s drawings or a landlord’s specification, and the work has to be staged around the other trades on site.

Maintenance work covers repairs, replacing failed fittings, and adding points or circuits as the use of a space changes. Access hours on a trading site are often the thing that shapes how a job is planned.
